Super Status Bar

Super Status Bar is an app to replace Android's classic status bar with one that's transparent, fancier, and with more features. And you don't even need a rooted device to use it.

Although transparency is Super Status Bar's main feature, it's certainly not the only one. Inside the app's settings you'll find many tools to use as desired. You can change the font as well as its color. Likewise, you can set custom background images for the dropdown bar.

From the app's settings you can also manually configure which elements you want to see in your status bar. Battery, notifications, date, hour, Internet provider, etc. You can enable or disable all these elements with a single touch.
